For the past two years, Rooftop Suicide Club
has been quietly instigating a change in their hometown of New Bedford, MA. With songs featuring the unlikely combination of
indie-rock aesthetic with lush harmony vocals, big guitar solos, and a deft rhythm section, they have quickly gained popularity
among their peers and critics. Brought up on a steady and diverse diet of music from artists like Wilco, Big Star and Air Supply,
Rooftop Suicide Club creates songs that hail back to the glory and fun of 70’s radio and are infused with the urgency and power of
today's underground. Listeners are immediately struck by the catchy melodies and prolific and introspective lyrics, and because of
this depth, the band appeals to many audiences. In performance, they effortlessly transition from gentle ballads to guitar-dueling rockers.

Now, as Stop, Pop, and Roll’s latest signing, the band will be bringing its sound to Boston and the rest of the free world with
their debut full-length CD, due out in 2005. With a seemingly endless supply of innovative songs and a chip on their collective shoulder,
Rooftop Suicide Club heralds the death of commercial, tattoo-laden testosterone rock music. And that’s a change embraced by just about everyone these days.
