"It can't be easy being friends with Ad Frank" - the Boston Phoenix
Ad Frank spent his formative years fronting indie-pop favorites Miles Dethmuffen (later PermaFrost), but busted out on his own in 1999 with his eponymous debut cd. Boston Magazine wrote that "Ad Frank has a wise-ass knack for pairing brooding lyrics with solid, catchy pop-rock tunes." April 2001 saw the release of his second solo disc, Mr. Fancypants, on Stop, Pop, and Roll Records.
